High School Math Requirements for Post-Secondary Admission
Alberta Education is changing the senior high mathematics curriculum. These changes will impact the type of math required for entrance to Alberta's post-secondary programs.
The dates for provincial implementation of the new math courses are:

The following post-secondary math admission requirements for TransferAlberta member institutions have been updated as of January 2012:
- Comprehensive Academic Research Institutions
 (University of Alberta, University of Calgary, University of Lethbridge, Athabasca University)
- Baccalaureate and Applied Studies Institutions (Grant MacEwan University, Mount Royal University)
- Polytechnical Institutions (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, Southern Alberta Institute of Technology)
- Independent Academic Institutions (Canadian University College, Concordia University College, Kings University College, St. Mary’s University College, Taylor College and Seminary)
- Comprehensive Community Institutions (Red Deer College, Portage College, Keyano College, Grand Prairie Regional College, Bow Valley College, Olds College, Northern Lakes College, Lethbridge College, Norquest College, Lakeland College)
