There are a number of distance education options in Alberta and throughout Canada, including the following:

  • Alberta Distance Learning Centre Offers flexible distance learning for Grades 1 to 12 with course alternatives and ways to complete your high school education.
  • Athabasca University Specializes in liberal arts, science and professional education, offering more than 700 courses in 60 Bachelor, Master and Doctoral programs and Graduate Certificate and Diploma programs.
  • eCampusAlberta Your one-stop connection to more than 40 accredited online programs and 400 online courses offered by Alberta's colleges and technical institutes.
  • Alberta North Thanks to a partnership of six post-secondary schools, you can access numerous learning resources such as computers, Internet, career guidance, study guides and exam supervision at over 85 learning centres throughout northern Alberta and the Northwest Territories.
