What Happens to my Grants if I Don't Cash my Loans?

Grants that you are eligible to receive may not be issued to you until you cash your student loans.

What if I Received a Grant Over-Award?

If you have been notified that you received a grant over-award, you are responsible to pay back the over-award funds.

If your over-award is determined as a result of:

  • a reassessment of your application, contact the Student Funding Contact Centre if you have questions about your reassessment
  • an audit of your application, contact Program Compliance and Investigations, Learner Assistance, to discuss the audit findings and appeal deadlines. pdficon_small.gif
