Volunteer for the ALIS Youth Advisory Committee!

Are you 15-24?
Want to volunteer and use Facebook at the same time?

The ALIS Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) could be for you!

The ALIS Youth Advisory Committee is a unique, online volunteer opportunity for youth across Alberta to have their say on the content, features and publications posted on the Alberta Learning Information Service (ALIS) website.

As a committee member, you’ll join the YAC Facebook group for group discussions and to receive monthly activities. Each activity gives you a link to ALIS website pages, features or a publication to look at. Once you’ve reviewed it, fill out a feedback form and tell us what you think. It’s that easy! To yak a little further, there will be a few committee meetings throughout the year held through web conferencing.

Committee Purpose

What you think is important to us. We want to make sure that the career planning, education and job information you find on ALIS meets YOUR needs. Through the ALIS Youth Advisory Committee, you can share your suggestions and feedback with the ALIS team.
Your opinions will help make a difference by ensuring the site meets the needs of youth across Alberta.

What will I do in the committee?
