New Student Aid Alberta website has been officially launched!
The new studentaid.alberta.ca web site is now available to support eligible post-secondary students in financing their education. Over the next year, Student Aid Alberta is planning ongoing improvements to the website to continue to make it easier for post-secondary students to access information, services and supports.
The 2012-13 Student Aid Alberta applications for full and part-time students are now available at studentaid.alberta.ca. Students enrolled in programs that begin before August 1, 2012, can still apply for student aid using the current online application or downloadable PDFs available at studentaid.alberta.ca. Printed versions of the 2012-13 Student Aid Alberta application packages for full time students will be distributed to post-secondary institutions in Alberta in early July.
The new Student Aid Alberta Service Centre is now available to answer questions about eligibility for Alberta and Canada student loans and grants, and help post-secondary students through the application process. Call the Student Aid Alberta Contact Centre, toll free from anywhere in North America at 1-855-606-2096. Representatives are available to take calls from 7:30 am to 8:30 pm, Alberta local time.
These initiatives are being implemented to improve client service and communications, increase access to student aid, and reduce barriers to a post-secondary education.
