Alberta Scholarship Programs

Queen Elizabeth II Graduate Scholarship Program

Sponsored by: Administered by Alberta Scholarship Programs, this scholarship commemorates the Queen's visit to Alberta in May of 2005.

Purpose: To reward the high level of achievement of students pursuing graduate studies in Alberta.

Value: Masters Level - up to $10,800 and Doctoral Level - up to $15,000.

Eligibility: Applicant must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident and be enrolled full-time in a faculty of graduate studies at one of the following post-secondary institutions in Alberta:  the University of Alberta, the University of Calgary, the University of Lehtbridge, Concordia University College or Athabasca University.

Selection: Recipients are selected by the Faculty of Graduate Studies. Each institution will be allowed one award for every 10 full-time eligible graduate students.

Disbursement: Award is disbursed by the post-secondary educational institution.
