Distance Education

Distance education, also known as distance learning, lets you complete most or all of your learning outside the traditional classroom, using online, print, video, teleconferencing and Computer Managed Learning (CML) resources. Distance education includes a range of programs, from elementary and high school to graduate studies.

Distance education offers flexibility:

  • Do your school work anytime, anywhere.
  • Follow your own schedule and work at your own pace.
  • Work at your job and go to school.
  • Complete a single course or a whole program.

If you're organized and motivated, distance education can be an effective learning option.
