Generally, there
are four types of E-Business strategies from which a company can
choose:

A Balanced
strategy involves use of E-Business to consolidate and enhance
a business’ core competency, or business. This is sometimes
known as “clicks and mortar” business.
- A Diversified
strategy involves use of E-Business to increase a company's business
scope and reach, perhaps through expansion of territory, or client
base, or product line.
- A Bold
strategy involves use of E-Business innovation and technical expertise
to develop new ways of doing business, usually on the Internet.
- An Ambition
Strategy involves use of E-Business to create a new standard
and thereby dominate a market.
