After objectives
have been set, it's time to take action. This involves analyzing
and creating a series of action steps. This is a deductive process.
Before proceeding
to the action steps consider some questions about your strategic
option:
-
What are the
positive and negative implications of implementing this strategy
for your organization and the competitive environment?
- What areas
of your organization do you expect the plan to impact?
- In which
areas of implementation do you see the highest likelihood of success?
- In which
areas do you expect to encounter difficulties?
Now, for each
goal, develop a specific strategic course of action with separate
action steps, again using the SMART process.
