The growth process
is the culmination of the different aspects of business that we
have discussed up to this point. By nature, businesses grow organically
over time, but there is a difference between natural business growth
and strategic business growth. If you have decided to grow your
business, you need to approach this growth as if you are starting
a new business - by first doing strategic planning, then looking
at your business environment, then deciding how to access the opportunity
through your marketing plan, and so on.
There are a
number of common vehicles through which you can grow your business,
including chaining, franchising, and strategic alliances. Once these
factors have been analysed, you can take action and grow.
