Indigenous Apprenticeship Programs

Apprenticeship lets you earn income while you learn in a program that combines on-the-job learning with technical training in a trade.

  • Syncrude Aboriginal Trades Preparation Program (SATP)—Keyano College program that prepares students to apprentice with Syncrude or other industry partners, or continue at the college
  • Trade Winds to Success—pre-apprenticeship training for boilermaker, carpenter, electrician, ironworker, millwright, plumber, steam/pipe fitter or welder trades
  • Women Building Futures—construction trades training, employment and mentorship for all women, with a strong history of welcoming Indigenous women.
