Rosie is a first year JFR Crew Member on the High Prairie Crew! Read what Rosie has to say about her JFR experience below.

Hiya, my name is Rosie Whiskeyjack. I’m an indigenous seventeen year old and I call a small community named Saddle Lake my homelands. I’ve also recently graduated high school. My experience with JFR has been so, so fun. It also has been quite the adventure. Something that makes me happy are the evenings at base, usually my crew and I either take restful evenings or we’re all playing some sort of board game or cards, blitz is my all time favourite. If I had to describe JFR in five words it’d be: My Most Dope Summer Yet. Although six weeks is a long time to stay away from home, my crew interactions with one another has made here start to feel like a home, just with a ton of exciting adventures
