Tell us a bit about yourself
Hi, my name is Sarah. In my spare time I enjoy going outside, reading books, playing soccer, and I am thrilled to be a Jiffer. Next year I am going to the University of Calgary, and I am taking a Bachelors in Biology with honours in cellular and molecular biology. I can’t wait for online school! Woo 2020.
How has your experience been so far with JFR?
It’s nice to have a job that isn’t in the office and to have the opportunity to be outside doing what I love doing. I’ve also enjoyed meeting everyone and getting to know the whole crew. Side bonus: we get some nice swag.
What makes you happy?
Spending time with the crew has honestly been such a highlight so far. I also enjoy challenging myself, pushing my limits, and learning new things.
Describe what JFR means to you in 5 words or less.
Protecting forests and having fun!
Describe your JFR leaders with a pop culture/musical reference.
Britani and Lucynda are like having two Jake Peralta’s (from Brooklyn 99) for leaders. They are both super funny and can be a bit immature when we are having a good time. But when the going gets tough they are super understanding and help lighten the mood. They are both perfect leaders and I can’t wait to spend the rest of the summer with my leaders.
