Tasks

  • Supervise staff (apprentices, stages hands, design team, etc.)
  • Establish work schedules
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
  • Oversee payroll administration
  • Operate cash register
  • Process money, cheques and credit/debit card payments
  • Tabulate total payment for goods or services required
  • Calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales
  • Stock shelves and clean counter area
  • Provide customer service
  • Accept reservations or take-out orders
