The proposed 18-credit Accounting and Finance Post-Diploma Certificate (ACFI) has been developed to meet the needs of both graduates and employers. Industry has identified the need for a mid-tier accounting credential to fill junior and intermediate-level accounting jobs in business, industry and government, and CPA-supervised positions in public accounting.

Admission Requirements
  • Applicants must have completed a two-year diploma or equivalent at an accredited post-secondary institution, with a minimum of 20 courses, or 60 credits, and a minimum 2.0 grade-point average. This diploma must contain the following coursework: Intermediate Financial Accounting, Intermediate Management Accounting, Business Law, Corporate Finance, and Accounting Applications.
  • All applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency prior to admission, including students educated in Canada.
  • SAIT evaluates international documents for admissions. After you’ve applied, consider our international document assessment service if your education is from outside of Canada.
