Admission Requirements
A complete Manitoba Senior 4 (Grade 12) OR equivalent standing in an adult education program. This is a special selection program. Early application is strongly recommended. As part of the special selection process, all applicants must: achieve satisfactory standing in the Canadian Adult Achievement Test (CAAT) (Vocabulary, Reading Comprehension and Language sub-tests). English is the language of instruction at Assiniboine Community College. All applicants educated outside of Canada, or outside of a country on the test-exempt list, are also expected to meet the English language proficiency requirement. Please see Admissions/Registration for details. CHCA students must be in good health. Immunizations, proof of current certification in basic rescuer or level C cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), current criminal record check and current child abuse registry check will be required prior to the start of practicum rotations.
