The Digital Marketing post-diploma certificate prepares professionals and recent graduates to market an organization or product using the latest digital marketing tools and techniques. The program is designed for professionals seeking to update their skill set with the principles of user experience design, analytics and search engine optimization, integrated media strategies, and web development techniques. User experience design is a process to create a unified experience for end-users through all their interactions with a company, a product and/or a service. Graduates will work individually and in teams to research, develop, and evaluate digital marketing strategies, create and customize websites, and produce marketing collateral in a variety of media

Admission Requirements

Other Requirements:

  • Additional course-specific software may be required
  • Previous education or work experience in communications, English, political science, journalism, public relations, marketing, or business is recommended
  • Working knowledge of personal computers including general business applications and navigating the internet is expected
English Language Proficiency Requirements:
Applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate one of the following:
  • IELTS score of 6 with minimum band score of 5.5
  • TOEFL score of 83
  • BVC Academic English 2 with a grade of “B-”
  • Canadian Language Benchmarks score of 8 in each strand
  • Successful completion of an Alberta Education English Language Arts course that is consistent with the specified academic admission requirements for the Career Program
  • Transcripts demonstrating successful completion of three years of full-time secondary education at a school where English was the language of instruction
  • Transcripts demonstrating successful completion of one year of full-time post-secondary education at a school where English was the language of instruction

This program is eligible for full-time post-secondary assistance by Student Aid Alberta for the funding year 2017/08/01 to 2018/07/31*.

  • Mandatory Fees $102.00 Year One
