Admission Requirements

Canadian students under age 21 are expected to attain their grade 12 diploma or equivalent prior to receiving a degree or diploma from ABC.

All applicants must provide proof of English language competency equal to or exceeding a score of one of the followingL

  • 60% in Alberta English 30-1 or equivalent
  • Duolingo English Test – 120+
  • Canadian Academic English Language Assessment (CAEL) – 70
  • Canadian Language Benchmark: Listening, Level 8; Reading, Level 8; Writing, Level 8
  • International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic – 6.5
  • Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic – 60
  • Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) iBT – 90
  • Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) Paper-based – 560
  • WAEC (West African Examinations Council) English – C5

Student Aid

This program is eligible for full-time post-secondary assistance by Alberta Student Aid for the funding year 2023/08/01 to 2024/07/31*.
