All students must complete a successful interview with the College to determine suitability for the program of interest. Interview will be with VP Academics, Program Chair, and Administrative Manager. Standard Admission for diploma programs 1. English (Grade 12) and Math (Grade 10) or equivalent from another province, as verified by transcripts, OR GED (score of 450 in LA and 400 in Math). 2. 18 years of age or older OR 17 years of age with a high school diploma. Mature Admission 1. Minimum age 25 2. Satisfactory result on an equivalency test. The candidate should obtain a 60% in the Wonderlic Basic Skills Test administered by the College. International Students Admission 1. Transcripts from home country with results equivalent to standard admission requirements 2. If ESL, must meet ESL requirements 3. Evidence of English (e.g. ESL, TOEFL) may be required and student may be required to take the Wonderlic Basic Skills Test ESL Requirements 1. Candidates to produce evidence of ESL or complete the Wonderlic Basic Skills Test (WBST). The candidate must score a minimum of 60% in each of the verbal and quantitative skills for the WBST.
This program is eligible for full-time post-secondary assistance by Student Aid Alberta for the funding year 2018/08/01 to 2019/07/31*.
