Perform hands-on work in the electrical lab while learning about a wide variety of wiring methods, circuitry, and conduit bending. Become informed about electrical safety and basic electrical code as it applies to commercial and residential installations.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will obtain the skills preparing them for an apprenticeship in the electrical trade and will receive a wallet card certificate.

For out-of-province or temporary foreign workers, the Electrician Refresher program will help prepare you for your Red Seal Certification. For more information please contact 780.378.5255.

Admission Requirements
No admission requirements.   This hands-on course is designed to prepare a person for an apprenticeship job in the Electrician Trade. Electrical safety and basic electrical code will be covered as it applies to commercial and residential installations. The majority of the course hours will be spent in the electrical lab where students will do electrical work to learn about wiring methods, circuitry and conduit bending.
