All applicants must meet the general admission requirements for Lethbridge College programs, as indicated in the Admissions section of the calendar.
Academic Requirements: In addition, applicants to this program must satisfy the following specific course requirements (or equivalencies):
- Grade 12 biology
Practicum Experience Requirements: There is a required practicum component to this program. The College dictates the legal terms and conditions governing the practicum experience.
- Applicants may be required to provide a Criminal Record Check before entering the practicum experience component of the program.
- Applicants will be required to have a current Standard First Aid and CPR Level A or C certificates prior to the practicum experience.
Medical Requirements: Although no physical requirements are placed on applicants for entry to the program, applicants are required to take a medical examination to ensure that their cardiovascular system is suitable to undertake strenuous exercise. Interviews may be requested.
