Successful completion of this course may provide students with up to 12 months credit in lieu of the 36 months operating experience in a power plant required to write the Provincial Government exam in Alberta. The price for distance courses does not include the cost of textbooks. Note: Alberta Boiler and Pressure Vessel Safety will accept satisfactory completion of Part A of the First Class course as the educational requirements necessary for individuals to qualify to take their Part A First Class Examinations. If outside of Alberta, you must check with your provincial boilers branch prior to taking this course.
