The program and curriculum design of the diploma program is the same as the certificate program as, with the addition of the work experience, the certificate program should have been a diploma program. Therefore, there is both a proposal to suspend the certificate and this proposal to implement a diploma program. Calendar descripiton: The program is designed for students to acquire an overview of the funeral service profession including its history, the elements of a service, and the roles and responsibilities of funeral directors, embalmers and other funeral service professionals.
