Admission Requirements: 1. Must be minimum age of 18 years or older 2. Grade 10 English as verified by transcript or Canadian Language benchmark 6, as approved by Alberta Health 3. Physical fitness note will be required from a doctor within first week of program. 4. Successful interview with institution. Police Information Check 1. School requires the learners admitted in the HCA program should submit a valid police check (PIC) with a vulnerable sector check upon admission in the program. Note: Any learners without a valid PIC will not be allowed to proceed in clinical practice. Immunization Record 1. Learners need to have an updated immunization record. Learners are required to submit their record prior to clinical course starts. Any learner without immunization record on file will not be allowed to proceed in their clinical experience.
This program is eligible for full-time post-secondary assistance by Student Aid Alberta *.
