Immigration Practitioner Certificate

Bow Valley College

Bow Valley College
Bow Valley College is pleased to offer the Immigration Practitioner Certificate program designated by the ICCRC. The aim of this program is to educate individuals interested in guiding immigrants through the immigration process by navigating complex Canadian Immigration Policies and Procedures. It is essential that practitioners are registered, educated immigration professionals to assist with immigration advice and representation.   The Bow Valley College Immigration Practitioner Certificate program adheres to and promotes the professional standards the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC) demands. Upon completion of this certificate program successful applicants will have the training necessary to challenge the ICCRC’s Full Skills examination. Once admitted to the profession, practitioners will be held to high professional standards through continuous professional development and mandatory practice management education, all taught and developed by the IPC governing body, the ICCRC.
The IPC program will be of interest for individuals looking to:
  • Set-up a private Immigration Practitioner business
  • Expand practices within a law firm specifically in the area of Immigration
  • Work with service providers and/or non-profit organizations as a consultant
  • Provide Immigration advice and guidance at Canadian borders and/or within Corrections Canada
  • Specialize within HR departments and/or recruitment agencies
