Admission Requirements
All applicants should be interviewed with respect to suitability to the program. Students whose first language is not English will be required to take the CELPIP English Entrance Exam unless they have proof of equivalent testing. Grade 12 diploma or equivalent with Grade 10 science or biology. Mature Students: 1. Minimum 19 years of age. 2. Out of high school for a minimum of 1 year. 3. Minimum Grade 10 English, Grade 10 science or biology. 4. Minimum 50 high school credits (total)/or related health care experience or training. Mature students with proof of acceptance from another post-secondary institution or a health related background may be accepted into the program following a personal interview. Should the above requirements not be met, review of previous relevant work experience and following a personal interview, acceptance may be granted at the discretion of the director/registrar.
