Master of Landscape Architecture Landscape Architecture

University of Calgary

University of Calgary

www.ucalgary.ca
The Master of Landscape Architecture program is structured around a core studio sequence. Required courses and electives make up the remainder of the program. The foundation year parallels the structure of t he Master of Architecture program and the Master of Planning program in terms of some shared studios and theory courses. This provides an interdisciplinary setting for the MLA, MArch and MPlan students who share courses and program structure, and could, over time, incorporate more of the courses so that the three professional programs interact more fully throughout their programs. Opportunities for collaboration include areas of History & Theory, Professional Practice, several studios, and the Study Abroad programs. Program administration will come under a newly configured position of Associate Dean (Academic) Planning & Landscape.
