Admission Requirements
STANDARD ADMISSION Students must meet ONE of the following criteria: a. Alberta High School Diploma, verified by transcript, with 50% or better in Grade 12 English and Mathematics 10 or any Grade 11 Mathematics, or non-Alberta equivalent. OR b. Successful completion of the General Equivalency Diploma (GED) with a standard score of 50 or better in English or Mathematics. MATURE ADMISSION Students must meet ALL of the following criteria: a. Out of school for two years. b. Successful test result on an aptitude test chosen by the school. c. Fifty credits toward an Alberta High School Diploma, verified by transcript, with 50% or better in Grade 10 English and Mathematics 10 or any Grade 11 Mathematics, or non Alberta equivalent. Addendum to Admission Requirement (Choice Requirements) a. Successfully complete typing test - minimum of 30 wpm keyboarding skills prior to entering the course or a minimum of Information Processing 30. b. Computer Certificate of Windows, Microsoft Office and the Internet (must have) c. All students under the age of 18 must provide a letter of parental consent. d. Must complete a successful interview.
