Love the sound of a finely-tuned motorcycle engine? Picture yourself in an exciting and financially rewarding career as a motorcycle mechanic! This comprehensive, hands-on course is designed to prepare you for an apprenticeship in the motorcycle mechanic trade. 

With theory in the classroom, and ample time in the shop learning how to recognize, diagnose, and repair a wide range of mechanical issues. Students will familiarize themselves with hand and power tools, common and precision measuring instruments, and other shop equipment.

Gain confidence in measuring, inspecting, and repairing drum and disc brakes, and learn how to install various motorcycle and ATV accessories. Understand Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) and proper PDI set up. Build an awareness of shop safety issues and use of personal protective equipment.

Admission Requirements
The goal is to prepare students for entry level positions as motorcycle mechanics to begin an apprenticeship. Students will spend time in the classroom learning theory as well as a large portion of time in shop learning how to recognize, diagnose and repair mechanical issues.
