Admission Requirements

Manitoba Grade 12 and Adult Criminal Record/Vulnerable Sector (ACRVS) Check and Provincial Child Abuse Registry (PCAR) Check conducted within six months of attending the practicum. See CO-OP/Practicum Information for details. A Canadian Language Benchmark score of 7 is recommended for English-as-an-Additional Language (EAL) applicants to be successful in the program. Special Admission Requirements-Applicants who will be 19 years of age on or before September 30 in their year of registration, and who have been out of high school for a minimum of one year who do not meet the regular admission requirements may apply under the special admission requirements. Individuals applying as a special admission applicant must also meet admission requirement 2 as outlined above. An official transcript, resume, and a one-page handwritten letter explaining why they are interested in the program must also be submitted. Note: Distance Education students must have access to email.
