Examples of additional topics include:

• high voltage "limits of approach" and cautions
• care and maintenance of all rigging components
• calculating workload limits, capacities and tensions of different sling applications
• proper set-up of mobile cranes
• rigger and operator responsibilities for lifts

Students will participate in practical activities, including one day working with a mobile crane.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will receive a wallet certificate.

Admission Requirements
Improve or refresh your knowledge of rigging techniques and equipment! Students will be instructed on the safe and practical use of signals, various types of hoisting equipment, slings and other types of pertinent equipment. This course is applicable to construction and industrial sites and activities in many sectors. A strong emphasis is placed on good safety practice, including applicable OHS regulations.
