Academic Upgrading Literacy and Essential Skills Pathways

NorQuest College

NorQuest College
The LES Pathways program articulates a philosophy and program architecture that supports adult foundational learners to achieve their literacy goals in an outcome-based environment. Students work on goals for both employment and academic success. The program varies from 4 - 16 months depending on learner goals, starting point literacy levels and successful demonstration of progress. The program is designed with a maximum of 17 possible courses, depending on if a learner needs to complete the entire program; learners coming in with stronger skills may require less time to complete the program. Learners not meeting the minimal pre-requisites may be referred to a community program.
