The Accounting certificate of achievement (Accelerated) at SAIT is available through Continuing Education (evening and weekend courses) and Distance Education (online courses). Through this part-time program, you can build your career in accounting at a pace that works for you.

As a SAIT student, you will gain a better understanding of business and bookkeeping through our in-depth program. In addition to accounting courses, we help ensure your career success through training in effective business communications and marketing, business computers and economics, among others.

Admission Requirements

It’s a simple process to get started. There are no entrance requirements for this program. You can register for courses at any time by visiting our website, Be sure to have your SAIT student ID number. Need to get your ID number? Call Student Services at 1.877.284.7248.

Once you have registered for at least one course, fill out and submit the Program Declaration Form to Student Services.

You have up to five years to complete all certificate courses. You must meet the graduation requirements as they exist at the time you register for your first course (see AC.3.1.1 Grading and Progression).

Distance Delivery Options

All courses are also available by distance delivery.
