It is generally accepted that when a project manager applies effective and efficient construction project management principles and techniques to a project, total project savings of between 15 and 20% of the project value can be realized. Key to the success of a well-managed construction project is the construction manager. The purpose of the Bachelor of Technology - Construction Project Management program is the development of skills, knowledge, attitudes and abilities in Construction Project Management for construction managers.

Admission Requirements
There are two pathways for admission into this program: Pathway A:
  • Successful completion of NAIT Construction Engineering Technology diploma OR similar diploma from a recognized Canadian Institution of Technology with a minimum GPA of 2.3.*
  • Proof of English Language Proficiency

Pathway B:

  • Successful completion of a two-year related or pertinent diploma with a minimum GPA of 2.3* AND completion of the required provisional admission courses.
  • Completion of the required prerequisite courses
  • Proof of English Language Proficiency
  • A resume may be required for applicant who does not have a related diploma in construction management field.
