The three-month certificate program is comprised of the same courses used to train CVE officers. In this three-month credential program, you'll gain the knowledge to play an important role in ensuring our roads and highways are safe for all. Through the flexible delivery of the program, you can choose to take only the courses you need or take them all and earn your certificate.

Admission Requirements

General Admission Requirements: All applicants must meet the general admission requirements for Lethbridge College programs, as indicated in the Admissions section of the calendar.

Medical Requirements: Although no physical requirements are placed on applicants for entry to the program, applicants are required to take a medical examination to ensure that their cardiovascular system is suitable to undertake strenuous exercise. 

Note: Applicants who lack the required academic admission requirements can apply to the College and University Preparatory Program to upgrade for your program.

Prior Learning Assessment (PLA): If you have experience working in this field of study, you may be eligible for Prior Learning Assessment.

One course is available online, as identified in the calendar by (OL) after the course title.


Application Deadline

New students are accepted into the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Program in the Spring (May) term.
