A complete Manitoba Senior 4 (Grade 12) OR equivalent standing in an adult education program. This is a special selection program. Early application is strongly recommended. As part of the special selection process, all applicants must: achieve satisfactory standing in the Canadian Adult Achievement Test (CAAT) (Vocabulary, Reading Comprehension and Language sub-tests). English is the language of instruction at Assiniboine Community College. All applicants educated outside of Canada, or outside of a country on the test-exempt list, are also expected to meet the English language proficiency requirement. Please see school website for details. CHCA students must be in good health. Immunizations, proof of current certification in basic rescuer or level C cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), current criminal record check and current child abuse registry check will be required prior to the start of practicum rotations.
