Admission Requirements
  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • English Language Arts 10-1 or English Language Arts 10-2 or equivalent. GED is accepted provided the student has successfully completed the Language Arts Reading and Writing Skills portion.
  • Completion of the health status questionnaire (form provided by Health Services)
  • Physical and mental abilities required for lab practicum courses
  • Clear Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Check. The cost of a Police Information Check is the student’s responsibility. Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Check must be dated no earlier than July 1st
  • Up-to-date immunization record including Hepatitis B
  • Computer skills are an asset
  • CPR Certification at the Healthcare Provider level
