Admission Requirements
Standard Admission: Students must meet ONE of the following criteria: Alberta high school diploma, verified by transcript, or non-Alberta equivalent; OR Successful completion of the General Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D.); Successful completion of the General Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D.). Mature Admission: Students must meet the following criteria: Must be 19 years or older. Proven work experience for a period of at least 5 years in an administrative capacity/or other academic upgrading/or other post-secondary training. Entrance Exam Requirements: All students must achieve a passing score (min. 50%) on one of the following academic achievement tests to demonstrate required competency: CAAT (Canadian Adult Achievement Test), TABE (Test of Adult Basic Education), CAST (Canadian Achievement Survey Test for Adults) or Wonderlic. ESL - English as a Second Language: Where English is not the first language of the Applicant, proof of completion of any one of the following exams will be required: IELTS (Academic) - Overall band score of 6.5 with no band less than 5.5. Canadian Academic English Language Assessment - CAEL (paper) or CAEL CE (computer) - minimum band score of 60. CanTEST (Canadian Test of English for Scholars and Trainees) - At least 4.5, with no part lower than 4. PTE (Academic) (Pearson Test of English Academic) - At least 61, with no less than 60 in each communicative skill.
