The Bachelor of Science - Environmental Science is a four year multi-disciplinary program. The program is recognized by the Alberta Institute of Agrologists (AIA) meaning that students who have completed the recommended courses should be eligible to register as an Agrologist in Training (AIT) leading to the Professional Agrologist (P.Ag.) designation. Environmental Technology Diploma graduates admitted into the collaborative degree program shall receive sixty (60) transfer credits towards the MRU degree, as per agreed upon transfer equivalencies. Students who successfully complete all program requirements may apply to MRU to graduate with a Bachelor of Science - Environmental Science.

Admission Requirements

Students must have completed the Environmental Technology Diploma Program offered at Keyano College to enter Year 3 of the Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science program.

If students graduated with an Environmental Technology Diploma with a minimum GPA of 2.0 before 2015, they will need to take additional courses to be qualified. Their transcripts will need to be reviewed by the Program Chair.

If students have a two year Diploma in an Environmental Technology or related program from an accredited institution in Canada or the United States of America with a minimum GPA of 2.0, they may qualify for admission upon review by the Program Chair.
