Standard Admission Requirements 1. Completion of a successful interview with the registrar or designate of Delmar College of Hair and Esthetics. If, during the interview, it becomes evident that English language proficiency (both written and spoken) may not allow for successful completion of a desired program, a Wonderlic Basic Skills Level exam may be administered. 2. Minimum age 17. 3. Proof of high school diploma or equivalency from another province in Canada, or GED. Mature Admission Requirements 1. Completion of a successful interview with the registrar or designate of Delmar College of Hair and Esthetics. Minimum age 19. 3. Grade 10, as verified by transcript, or proof of employment in a job requiring English as the spoken language for a minimum of 2 years, if educational requirements are not met. International/ESL Students 1. Must meet the above standard or mature requirements, and additionally: - If high school transcripts are from another country, must pass a Wonderlic Basic Skills Level exam in addition to providing transcripts. - Write and submit the results of a TOEFL ESL English proficiency exam, if English is a second language.
