The Basic Bookkeeping Certificate will give students an opportunity to complete courses that will qualify them as an introductory bookkeeper and will give students training that will lead to employment in a wide variety of positions. There is a high demand for bookkeepers, bookkeepers' assistants, accounts receivable/payable supervisors, payroll assistants, and accounting technicians. Admission Requirements
If you are entering the program directly from high school, you require a High School Diploma including the following courses with a minimum grade of 50%, English 30-1 or 30-2, Math 20-1 or 20-2 (or equivalent). If you are a mature student and do not meet the requirements, you must attain a minimum score on an appropriate entrance test.

Certificate program available through distance delivery to communities that do not have college campuses.
