The Pre-Employment Welding Program covers all material in The First Year Alberta Welding Apprenticeship curriculum and prepares and allows students to write the First Year Welding Apprenticeship theory and practical exams.

Admission Requirements

English 10-2 and Math 10-3, pass Apprenticeship Entrance Exam, or pass mark in all 5 Canadian General Educational Development (GED) tests.

This program is eligible for full-time post-secondary assistance by Alberta Student Aid for the funding year 2023/08/01 to 2024/07/31*.

  • Books/Supplies/Instruments $350.00 Year One
  • Mandatory Fees $150.00 Year One
