Grant MacEwan University

Grant MacEwan University

www.macewan.ca
The Wound Management post-diploma certificate provides health care practitioners with specialty knowledge and expertise required to work in a practice setting with patients who have complex wounds resulting from a variety of disease pathologies and factors. The focus of the program is on the management of all complex wounds, but some emphasis is placed on certain populations that are at greater risk to develop wounds. Prevention of exacerbation of wounds is covered throughout the program. It is part of a standardized approach to wound management involving all members of an interdisciplinary wound management team.
