Interest in co-ordinating information to plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the development of economic policy research projects and economic programs; and in directing the activities of economists, economic development officers and other staff, in organizing and directing committees evaluating departmental and agency projects and programs, and in overseeing training and professional development
Interest in negotiating with members of committees and senior management when participating in development of departmental policies; and in advising economists and other staff who conduct economic research
Interest in advising economists and other staff who administer programs in government activities such as taxation, international trade, labour, transportation and agriculture; and in advising economic development officers and other staff administering programs to promote industrial and commercial business investment in urban and rural areas; and in administering and controlling budgets for projects, support services, equipment and supplies
