Finding a job related to your education is easier when you have a plan.
You’ll need to learn how to market yourself to employers. If you’re fresh out of school, you may not have much experience, but you may have developed skills that employers are looking for.
Highlighting these skills – often referred to as employability skills – will show an employer how valuable you can be.
Also, make sure you’re looking in the right place:
- Check Alberta Job Postings and other job boards to see what employers are looking for.
- Ask friends and former coworkers if they know about job openings.
