Student at a public college
Question

“I'm from a small town. What's it like moving to the city for school or work?”

Answer

Like many rural Albertans, post-secondary education may be your first exposure to city living.

You may fall in love with the urban lifestyle and decide to stay or you may take your newfound knowledge back to the familiar comfort of your home town. Either way, you'll have gained some valuable new training and experiences that employers will value.

Joel attends a public college. Learn more about his experience moving from a rural town to the city, becoming involved in student groups, and getting to know his professors.
