Identify Supporting Tasks

In Step 2 you identified key tasks. These are the major steps you must take to pursue your preferred career option or occupation.

Now you'll identify supporting tasks. These are the smaller actions you take to complete a key task.

When you plan smaller steps you are

  • more likely to see what needs to be done first
  • better able to see what it will take to achieve your key tasks
  • more likely to achieve your key tasks

To identify supporting tasks, ask yourself 2 questions:

  1. What do I have to do first?
  2. What steps are needed to achieve my key tasks?
