High Level
Leader - Tristan (He/Him) Sub-Leader - Paige (She/Her) Leader-in-training: Oliver
  Intro video

Tristan (right): Hi there, my name is Tristan, and I’ll be your Crew Leader for this summer! A little bit about me is that I grew up on Northern Vancouver Island (Port McNeill), and currently I attend university for Resource and Environmental Management at SFU. Growing up, I played competitive hockey and skiing, but really ended up doing almost anything that had me going outside. When I’m not working, I can usually be found playing golf or fishing, so if you’re into that, I’d recommend bringing some tackle up here. This is my first time being this far north in Alberta, so I’m looking forward to spending weeks and time off exploring the surrounding areas and making the most of the summer. I can’t wait to meet you all at member training and get this summer started, We have lots of fun projects planned!

Paige (left): Hi there, my name is Paige, and I’ll be your sub-leader for this summer. I’m currently going to school for Forest Resource Management at UBC. I’ve been studying forestry for 2 years, and I am looking forward to sharing some of my experiences with you.  Some of my interests are car racing, photography and currently I’m learning how to play the guitar. I love the outdoors, and I am excited to explore and get to know part of the Boreal Forest this summer. Wildfire is another big interest of mine, and I’m hoping to get lots of hands-on experience with the crew. I can’t wait to meet you all!

Lac La Biche
Leader - Amy (She/Her)  Sub-Leader - Stella (She/Her) Leader-in-training: Sharnie
  Intro Video

Amy: Hey! My name is Amy and I’m super excited to be the Crew Leader for Lac La Biche this summer! I’m originally from Victoria, studied psychology and French at the University of Calgary and then went on to UBC Vancouver to get my K-12 teaching certification. For the past two years I've been teaching and working with youth in Fernie, BC. I’m all about that work hard, play hard mindset whether it’s hiking, skiing, mountain biking, canoeing, camping, or just getting my hands dirty out in the bush. Also, I love animals, especially dogs, and a tasty cup of coffee in the morning. When I’m not out in nature, I’m soaking up sunrays on the beach, vibing to some tunes or catching up on a good podcast. I’m pumped to be spending this summer learning new skills, having fun, and making unforgettable memories with my crew!

Stella: I’m a highly motivated and physically active individual from Mississauga, Ontario, with a strong passion for hands-on, service-driven careers. I completed my education in Pre-Service Firefighting Education and Training, where I gained experience in fire suppression, search and rescue, hazardous materials awareness, and emergency medical response.
Though I'm now pivoting to become a licensed Electrician, I'm excited about the new opportunities this path will bring, including working with my hands, learning new systems, and being part of building and maintaining essential infrastructure.
I’ve been playing hockey since I was 4 years old, primarily as a left wing. In addition to hockey, I also enjoy snowboarding as one of my favorite winter sports.
In addition to the winter sports, I also play volleyball, flag football, ultimate frisbee, and dodgeball. Staying active and being part of a team helps me maintain a balanced and healthy lifestyle.
When I’m not on the field or in the classroom, I try to get up to my family’s cottage near Lake Huron as often as I can. It’s where I’ve made some of my best memories, spending time with family and friends, enjoying nature, and recharging during the summer months.
