Lucas T.

Lucas is one of six super first year members on the High Prairie crew for 2024!

Tell us a bit about yourself!

My name is Lucas. I am a 17 year old going into the 12th grade this year. I spend my free time playing sports such as rugby and hockey, or volunteering in my community.

How has your experience been so far with JFR?

So far, JFR has exceeded my expectations. The work and activities are amazing, though, the most memorable part of the program are the people you meet and spend your time with.

What brings you joy?

Seeing others happy and reach their full potential is what brings me joy.

Describe what JFR means to you in 5 words or less!

To me, JFR means teamwork, growth, learning, and inspiration.

What has been your favourite project or activity you've done with JFR so far?

My favourite project so far has been trail building in Notikewan. I loved working with all the other Jiffers as a team and combining our different skills to make something we were proud of.

Thanks for sharing Lucas! If you want to keep up with the High Prairie Crew this summer, you can check out their video blogs here!
