Tasks

  • Conduct audiometric tests and examinations
  • Follow up with patients to ensure assigned remedial programs are correctly followed and completed
  • Diagnose the degree and type of hearing impairment
  • Provide information to patients and families regarding the nature, extent, impact and implications of hearing loss and treatment

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses 

  • Canadian Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists Certification
  • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
